1. Who we are

AppMasonTech ("we", "us", "our") is a software studio that builds websites, mobile apps and backend systems. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@appmasontech.com.

2. Information we collect

• Enquiry details you provide. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you enter — your name, email address, phone number, company, project type, budget, timeline, your message, and any documents you upload.
• Website analytics. We use a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool (Umami) that does not use tracking cookies and does not build advertising profiles. It records aggregate information such as pages viewed, approximate country, referring site, and device type.
• Session recordings. We use session-recording technology to understand how visitors interact with our site — including how our forms are used and where people encounter difficulty — so we can improve usability. See section 3 for details.
• Technical data. Standard information your browser sends, such as your browser type and IP address, is processed to serve the site securely.

3. Analytics & session recording

To improve our website and understand where visitors have trouble (for example, difficulty completing the contact form), we record and replay individual browsing sessions using session-recording technology. These recordings may include information you type into forms on our site. Password fields are never recorded.

Recordings and analytics are hosted on our own servers — they are not sold, and not shared with advertising networks. Session recordings are automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days. If you would prefer that your session is not recorded, you can enable "Do Not Track" in your browser, or contact us and we will delete any recording associated with you.

4. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a time & budget estimate.
• To communicate with you about a potential or ongoing project.
• To operate, secure, analyse and improve our website and services.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Data retention

• Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of our engagement and a reasonable period afterwards.
• Session recordings are automatically deleted after 30 days.
• Analytics data is aggregate and retained to observe trends over time.

6. Who we share it with

We keep your data on infrastructure we control. We rely on a small number of service providers to operate — for example our email provider (Zoho Mail) to receive and reply to enquiries. These providers process data only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if required by law.

7. Security

We protect your data with measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), input validation and sanitisation, upload restrictions, rate limiting and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop processing it. To make a request, email hello@appmasontech.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Cookies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics is cookieless, and our session recording uses temporary browser storage that is cleared when you close the tab.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
